What the analyzer shows
The analyzer reads the Positions section of a standard MT5 Trade History Report — every closed position with its commission, swap and profit — and calculates everything on net results, after costs.
- Gross vs net — MT5's Profit column excludes commission. We add commission and swap so you see what actually reached your balance.
- Cost drag — how much of your gross profit went to commission and swap.
- Profit factor & expectancy — total won ÷ total lost, and the average result per trade.
- Max drawdown — the deepest fall in closed-trade equity from a previous peak.
- Hour, weekday and symbol breakdowns — where your edge is, and where it isn't.

FAQ
Which brokers work?
Any broker on MetaTrader 5 — Exness, IC Markets, Pepperstone, FTMO, The5ers, FundedNext and others — because they all use the same MT5 report format.
Why is my win rate lower than in MT5?
Because a trade that closes slightly in profit can be a loss after commission. We count a trade as a win only if it made money after costs.
Can I analyze MT4 statements?
Not yet — MT4 reports use a different layout. MT5 .xlsx and .html reports are supported.
How do I track this over time?
Create a free Free Trade Tracker journal and import the same file. New statements are merged without duplicates, so you can re-import whenever you like.
